Becky has been involved in applied research around resource management for 10 years, specialising in translating science into practical measures. The creator of the Farm Crap App, she is also a Nuffield scholar and currently leads research looking at soil carbon sequestration working with a wide range of farmers. She’s been working on projects to understand the agronomic and above ground benefits of multi species swards for the last 4 years and is now looking at the benefits of these leys below ground. Becky works with farmers and organisations to understand more about the impact of climate change on their businesses, calculating carbon footprints and developing carbon reduction strategies.
