Wyescapes: Food, Nature, Water – Stakeholder Workshop

24Oct2024

An opportunity to hear about the aims and ambitions of the Wyescapes project and to share how you would like to work with the Herefordshire Rural Hub to make it a success.

From 09:30 until 12:00

At Shell Store

Shell Store, Hereford, HR2 6SR

Wyescapes is a Landscape Recovery Project for the Rivers Wye and Lugg spanning the river corridor from Leominster to Symonds Yat. The Herefordshire Rural Hub are developing plans that will help restore river habitats, support nature recovery and improve public access and engagement with the landscape, whilst producing high-quality food through sustainable, climate-resilient farming.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone with a stake in this project. If you have an important perspective to share, if you might be affected by project outcomes, or if you can help us maximise the success and impact of the project, we’d love you to attend our stakeholder workshop. Residents, local businesses, and representatives from community groups, nature and conservation organisations, clubs that use the river for leisure pursuits (in or near river), and those with an interest in the local food and farming, will all be very welcome.

What will be covered:

  • Meet the project team and learn about Wyescapes – our aims and project activity to date.
  • An interactive workshop session so we can learn how you would like to get involved and your preferences for being kept up to date.
  • An opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
