Wyescapes is a Landscape Recovery project for more than 5000 hectares along the river corridors of the Wye and Lugg in Herefordshire. 50 landholdings will collaborate to restore the riverside habitats and support nature recovery, improve public access and engagement with the landscape, whilst producing quality food and produce through sustainable climate-resilient farming. Herefordshire Meadows are a delivery partner on this exciting project, which is led by Herefordshire Rural Hub with delivery support from us, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, and The Wye and Usk Foundation.
Wyescapes is currently in a development phase, and the project team are running an online webinar and workshop for stakeholders. So, if you’d like to learn more and to share your perspective, please book your place for this online event on 27 November at 7pm. Everyone with an interest in the project outcomes whether through the opportunity for meadow creation, as local residents, or via their involvement with community groups or Herefordshire businesses, will be very welcome to attend.
