The Scythe Festival attracts some of the best scythers in the country. We will make Hay Bales & you are welcome to make your own. Or even just bag up loads of yellow rattle & other seed too & spread it very soon. On Thursday there is a scythe course,  1 space left. On any day you could just turn up & have a go, under the watchful eye of one of the ‘experts’. We will cook wonderful food outside with teas & coffees too.  Children are most welcome to play with the grass too, the more it’s ruffled the better. There will be games too.
