Meadow walk and discussion

At Olchon Court Farm, Llanveynoe, HR2 0NL

This year our National Meadows Day event is at Olchon Court Farm. We will be hosted by Anthony Furness and Miriam Griffiths who have planned an approx. 2km walk around the meadows and wood pasture mosaics that are being created and restored in the upland fringe of Herefordshire. There will be a chance to discuss balancing plant diversity and hay production and how meadows can be part of the answer to the climate and biodiversity emergency.

Please wear suitable footwear for rough ground. There is 70m of ascent and descent, of which 40m is steep.

Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the walk - please bring your own cup. Booking enquiries need to be made to bookings@herefordshireruralhub.co.uk

Places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Car parking spaces are also limited so please let us know your postcode when booking so we can help arrange car sharing where possible.
