Seedling Safari – First Stop of the Season

21Oct2020

Discussion meeting courtesy of Ian Horsley with Matt Pitts of Plantlife

From 2:30pm until 4:00pm

Baston Hall, Crews Hill, Alfrick, Worcester, WR6 5HF

This is the first of our autumn seedling safaris and is a great chance to see a meadow in early establishment.

Matt Pitts, Plantlife's Meadow Adviser will be joining us to look at a restoration a few weeks after seeding where our host Ian Horsley has recently enhanced some permanent pasture with wildflower seed through the Boost for Biodiversity programme. Come and hear the method Ian used and see the seedlings that have germinated.

This event is particularly relevant to anyone who has enhanced their meadow this year and wants to know what to look out for this winter.

We are limiting places at this short discussion meeting to 12 people.  Toilets available but sadly no refreshments due to restrictions.

It will be great fun to be out and about again observing safe distancing.
