Webinar with Dr Paul Cross on the challenges and opportunities for pollinators in the wider landscape

Dr Paul Cross is a senior lecturer at the School of Natural Sciences, Bangor University whose research interests include Unmanned Aerial Vehicle tracking systems for pollinators and the characteristic size and shape of bees. He is also a beekeeper, the proud custodian of a wildflower meadow on Ynys Mon and a butterfly fanatic.

In this talk, Dr Cross will introduce the science being conducted to better understand some of the challenges facing pollinators in the wider landscape. He will highlight some of the key indicator species to look out for in a healthy meadow and also which restored and created habitats are of most benefit to our native pollinators.
