New grassland options available in Mid Tier of Countryside Stewardship
From 6.45 for 7.00 pm until 9.00 pm
At Norton Canon Village Hall
Kittys Lane, Norton Canon, Herefordshire HR4 7BW.
If you are considering applying for Mid Tier in 2018 and want to find out about the grassland options previously only available in Higher Tier then this workshop is for you. This workshop is for those whose scheme will include permanent grassland options to manage species rich grassland or enhance and create grassland.
Julie Button (Natural England adviser) and Lucinda Lewis (Hfds Meadows Group member and Wye and Usk Foundation adviser) and Caroline Hanks ( Herefordshire Meadows) will suggest how you can get the most out of the grassland options, where to site them on your land, which other options to consider to make a good application and share tips about the application process.
After this group workshop there will be further opportunities for 1:1 advice via free NE clinics and workshops or at charged rates from experienced local advisers in the County to help you complete the forms. Please order your application forms from NE ASAP to get the most out of this workshop - but not essential if you haven’t done this by 16th April.
Numbers will be limited, so to book your place at this workshop please email bookings@herefordshireruralhub.co.uk as soon as possible
The Hall is situated just off the A480 between Hereford and Kington, just south of the cross roads at Sarnesfied where the A4110 crosses the A480.
