Wildflower meadows have been established at Brockhampton Cottage in the last five years with different experimental techniques. These range from using Peter Tierney's pedestrian equipment to Mark Wood and neighbouring farmers' equipment, herbicides and yellow rattle. This event is for those who are considering enhancing, restoring or creating wildflower meadows and is a wonderful opportunity to hear about the process first hand and see the fabulous results.
Sloping land with grass paths and some steps. Stout shoes required. Light refreshments during the walk.
