These half-day sessions will give systematic practice in the identification of key Herefordshire meadow herbs both with and without flowers, as well as offering opportunities for more general plant species identification.
We have designed these sessions on Herefordshire meadows sites of increasing complexity,
aiming to pick up the range of skill levels in the group. You can book for 1 , 2 or 3 of these sessions.

Stage 1 - June 7th 12.30pm – 5.00pm, at Woolhope Parish Hall, HR1 4QS.
Lunch and introduction at 12.30pm prompt in the Hall, departing at 1.30pm for a 2pm start outdoors in the least diverse field at Joan’s Hill Farm (5 min drive + 15 minute walk away) courtesy of Plantlife.
Herefordshire Meadows in the field at Joan's Hill - fun learning about clovers, buttercups, hawkbits, catsear and trefoils and more.
Stage 2 - June 15th 1.00pm – 5.00pm, at Trenant Farm, Peterchurch, HR2 0SU, courtesy of Steve Hancorn and Anna Coda, former winners of FWAG meadow competition.
Lunch and introduction at 1.00pm.
Stage 3 - July 20th 10.00am – 2.00pm at Hopleys, Bearwood, Pembridge, HR6 9EQ, courtesy of Dan and Suzanne Wenczek.
Meet at Bearwood Methodist Chapel, same postcode HR6 9EQ, for tea/coffee and introduction at 10.00am.
Sandwiches and drinks provided at lunchtime.
Please remember that places are very limited, in order to ensure that this is a good quality training course for Herefordshire Meadows members. Please let us know if you aren’t able to make it nearer the time as we will have a waiting list.
